How is Search Engine Optimization Done?
When we build websites, we dont only consider physical aspect or the website design. Optimization of its images, codes and text content is another factor we importantly consider.

Obtaining high search engine rankings is not an instant process.
Here in DigiDog Studios, we carry out basic optimization for your website
for your relevant keywords. We design websites using standard design
methods and don't use any tricks just to improve search engine rankings.

These unethical tricks can harm your chances of a good ranking. These
include hidden texts, doorway pages, text the same color as a web page background, keyword stuffing and so on. Search engine spamming is a risky
business.  And can easily result in costly penalties if you are caught.

Basic Submission to Search Engines
After website development and optimization is finished, we then do a basic
submission of your website to major Search Engines and Open Directories
as part of our service. It usually takes anywhere from 1 week to 2 months
before your website will be listed, and 3-4 months in Google. (due to its new algorithm "Sandbox Effect").

Not all search engines are the same. Each of them has different time-frame
for listing web sites in their database. It also takes different amounts of time
to be listed depending if you pay to be listed or not.

If your website is about business and you dont want to do the waiting, you
can submit via paid listings and/or advertising oppurtunities. Check out

We may also monitor and tweak your website from time to time, (with your permission) to maximize you chances of being found. However, no guarantees
can be given as to where your web site is going to be positioned once it has
been optimized and indexed, as search engines, especially Google, frequently change search algorithms.

Be wary of those SEO firms offered by some companies that guarantee a #1
rank. No one can guarantee a #1 ranking on Google. Please be careful.

Backlinks
What are Backlinks? What can it to do my web site?
Backlinks are links from other websites to your site. When ranking web sites,
search engines such as Google look at the number and quality of websites that
link to your site. Ideally, you want backlinks from websites in your industry
that have many popular sites linking to them. Now your job, as the owner of
your site, should encourage other websites in your field to link to you.

Search for websites which complement yours but are not direct competitors.
The more backlinks you have, the greater the chances your website will have
high rankings. With good or high rankings in search engines, your web site are
more seen by visitors and customers.

Be particular though and avoid links to web spammers on the web as your own ranking may be affected adversely by those links.
